First Aid Replenishment Tray Case Study

There are hundreds of first aid kits for all kinds of uses. New car purchases often include a safety or first aid kit. Recreational or academic sports teams typically have first aid kits as part of their team equipment. However, there are some situations that face critical levels of urgency, matters of life and death! This First Aid replenishment tray includes all types of precious pharmaceuticals that counteract these medicals problems and the importance of the organization of this tray and the ease in replenishing the contents cannot be stress enough!

The Challenge

This global pharmaceutical company required an organized tray which could hold several different types of medicines. Three critical conditions of the design called for:

the ability to quickly and clearly identify each item,
easily access each individual item,
and for obvious evidence for the need to replenish any of the items.

The Solution

Working with the pharmaceutical company our thermoforming design experts developed this pharmaceutical packaging tray with multiple cavities fit to size for each item. The specific items were used to create a tray that would safely hold and clearly display the medicines. For ease of access, finger notches were incorporated into the design. As a measure of additional security a clear thermoformed lid was designed to fit snugly protecting items when not in use and allowing for a quick view of inventory and need to replenish any of the medicines.

The Result

Solving the most critical problem that gives medical professionals the ability to safely, quickly and effectively administer life-saving medications was key to this medical tray.
