As a precision thermoforming company, it only seemed natural that Indepak would be chosen to help this manufacturer of precision rifle scopes.
The Challenge
Leupold, a leading manufacturer of rifle scopes, needed a precision-thermoformed package to both protect and display various mounting systems that were sold in retail outlets throughout the world.
The Solution
The Indepak design team worked with Leupold to develop a series of precision-thermoformed packages featuring custom cavities sized to fit each component. By creating packages with multiple custom cavities, each component would be protected against rubbing up against the other metal items. In addition, prospective customers could quickly view all of the components in the mounting kit - seeing that it included all mounting hardware as well as the hex key wrench needed to assemble it.
The Result
Indepak was able to design a family of packages that could be easily merchandised in a variety of display options while clearly displaying the contents to potential customers.
