Pop-Up Bowl To-Go Salad Container
The goal was to source a supplier that could produce an innovative To-Go Salad Container that would function as an easy-to-use salad bowl once it was opened.
The 3-Piece Design
Exploring design considerations began with the basic concept and expanding the uniqueness of the full design. The complete package featured an adjustable, a flexible bowl that included a separate pocket, a tray for specific ingredients. It was secured with a friction-fit lid.
The Adjustable Bowl
This flexible bowl will “pop” open once the customer removes the lid. The unique compartment contains ingredients, such as dressing, to enhance the contents of the bowl. Our highly experienced engineers developed a series of ribs and channels on the bottom of the container that would allow the package to expand while still maintaining the bowl shape form.
Success
Not only was this success for the end user it invited additional sizes and expanded distribution for our client. A win, win for all!
