While most of what we do at Indepak is design packaging trays, we always enjoy working on the design and manufacture of end use products like this innovative paint roller tray.
The Challenge
Help design the tooling and specify the ideal materials to use in the manufacture of this innovative paint tray for this even more unique paint roller. The goal was to create a tray that could sit in a standard 5-gallon paint bucket and allow users to shed excess paint from the roller.
The Solution
The design of the tooling required tapered ends along with strategically placed nubs that created the proper amount of paint displacement. To aid with brand awareness and ensure customers knew who to contact with questions, the tray was also designed with important messaging embossed into its sides.
